Dr.
Sensenig earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy
from Elizabethtown College, graduating Cum
Laude. She earned the
Hershey Medical Center
Neuro-Rehabilitation Teamwork Award during her
tenure as an OT.
After
practicing as an Occupational Therapist for
several years, Dr. Sensenig went on to earn her
B.S. in Visual Science, M.S. in Low Vision
Rehabilitation and O.D. degrees from the
Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus
University in Philadelphia. She graduated with
highest honors.
Dr.
Sensenig has expertise in providing primary eye
care, pediatric eye care, low vision
rehabilitation and has a special interest in
neuro-ophthalmic and binocular vision disorders.
She is Nationally Board Certified to diagnose
and treat ocular diseases. She also directs our
Binocular Vision/Pediatric Service which caters
to the needs of our patients who suffer from eye
teaming, tracking and focusing disorders that
affect visual performance at school or
productivity at work. Dr. Sensenig has special
skills and experience caring for those afflicted
by stroke, traumatic brain injury or other
neurologic conditions resulting in visual
dysfunction.

Dr.
Sensenig
is a member of the medical staff at St. Joseph Medical
Center.
She
is a VISION USA™
eye doctor, providing eye care services to those
in our community in need who have been screened
and referred for care by the Salvation Army.
Dr.
Sensenig is a member of the Greater
Reading Young Professionals. She is
available to lecture to local civic or
professional groups on a variety of eye care
topics.
